Sunday Practice Sessions
Weekly practice in small rooms, then a group discussion. New stations every week.
Six intensive days covering every core CASC skill, with up-to-date course material.
We run our popular six-day intensive only 3 times a year. Its aim is to organise the CASC for you: bring the major areas together, give you clear frameworks, highlight what really matters and show you how to approach each type of station.
It is primarily a lecture-based teaching course rather than a practice course. Dr Mohammad Hindeyeh and Dr Praveen Kumar break down the key concepts, approaches and techniques, with plenty of time for questions and discussion throughout.
The focus is on using the knowledge you already have. What should you prioritise, how should you structure your seven minutes, what are the common mistakes, and what is the examiner actually looking for? We also cover communication style (empathy, containment and boundaries) and how examiners apply the scoring domains.
The six days are spread over two weeks, so you have time between sessions to go through the material and consolidate. Every day is live on Zoom from 9 AM UK, about 6 hours including breaks. For every area you receive dedicated, up-to-date learning materials to revise from afterwards. Ideal as a concentrated boost close to the exam, or as the backbone around which you add practice.
