Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: January 2026
1. Scope of this policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all CASCers products and services, including live courses, mock CASC stations, small-group teaching, online programmes, and paid groups run by MedPsychKH Ltd (company number SC812645). By booking any CASCers service, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
2. Statutory 14-day cooling-off period
If you are purchasing as a consumer and you book online or at a distance, you have a legal right to cancel any CASCers course, programme or paid group within 14 calendar days from the day after your booking is confirmed. This 14-day period applies to all our courses and services and is the minimum cancellation right we offer.
If you ask us to start providing the service during that 14-day period (for example, by joining a WhatsApp group, attending a live session, or accessing course materials), you acknowledge that:
- You may lose your right to a full refund once the service has been fully provided.
- If you cancel within the 14-day period after we have started providing the service, we may deduct a reasonable amount from any refund to reflect the value of the sessions, access or materials you have already received.
3. How to cancel within 14 days
Tell us in writing (email is fine) with your name, email address, the course or group name, and the date of booking. We will confirm receipt by email and process any refund due as soon as reasonably possible and within 14 days of agreeing the amount.
4. Live courses and mock packages
This section applies in addition to the cooling-off rights above and covers time-limited products such as the Crash Course, the Masterclass and mock CASC packages.
If you cancel within 14 days of booking: the statutory cooling-off rules in section 2 apply. Any deduction will be based on the proportion of the course or mock package already delivered to you.
If you cancel after the 14-day period has ended:
- 28 days or more before the first scheduled session or mock date: full refund, minus any clearly identified non-refundable payment processing fees.
- 15 to 27 days before the first scheduled session or mock date: 50% refund.
- 14 days or less before the first scheduled session or mock date, or after the course has started: no refund, except where required by law or at our discretion in exceptional circumstances (for example, serious illness or bereavement).
Non-attendance: failing to attend a booked mock or teaching session does not entitle you to a refund or free rebooking. Where possible we may offer an alternative slot or access to a recording, at our discretion.
5. Ongoing groups
This section applies in addition to the cooling-off rights above and covers ongoing products such as the Sunday Practice Sessions.
If you cancel within 14 days of your first sign-up: the statutory rules in section 2 apply. If you have already had access (for example, been added to groups, attended sessions, or used materials), we may deduct a reasonable amount for that access from your refund.
If you cancel after the 14-day period has ended: payments are generally non-refundable once a paid period has started. To stop future payments, email us at least 3 working days before the next one is due. You will usually keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless you ask for immediate removal (in which case no partial refund is given).
6. Changes by CASCers
CASCers may reschedule sessions, change tutors, merge groups, or adjust timetables where reasonably necessary (for example, tutor illness, very low enrolment, or technical issues).
Where CASCers cancels a course, mock circuit, or programme in full and does not offer a suitable alternative date or equivalent service, you will be entitled to a full refund of the fees paid for that product. Where only part of a programme changes (for example, one session moves to a different date or time), we will make reasonable efforts to provide an equivalent alternative. If a reasonable alternative is offered and you choose not to attend, no refund is due.
7. Transfers and exam sitting changes
Bookings are personal to you and cannot usually be transferred to another person without our prior written permission. Subject to capacity, we may at our discretion:
- Allow you to transfer your place to another eligible trainee; or
- Move your booking to a later cohort or exam sitting (for example, from a January CASC course to a June CASC course), which may involve an additional fee if prices have increased.
Transfer options are discretionary and may not be available for all products or close to the course start date.
8. How refunds are paid
Refunds are usually made using the same payment method you used for the original payment, unless we agree an alternative. CASCers is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment providers, or currency conversion, and is not liable for any charges applied by those providers.
9. Contact
To request a cancellation, discuss a transfer, or ask about a refund, email admin@cascers.com with your full name, contact details, the course or group name, and (if relevant) the scheduled date(s).
